Some artistic looks to get the holidays started

Hello ladies! One thing you didn't know about me is that I'm a Christmas mega-fan! I absolutely love this's my favorite part of the year (except for my birthday) :))! So I've already started the "X-Mas" inspired looks series with a more artistic and non-wearable look that I wanted to share with you. But before the holiday look I want to share another look I did last's full of color just as I like it and surprisingly it took me more than one hour to get this sucker done...but I'm pleased with the result.
Without further ado, here are the two looks I prepared for you.....and also some news at the end of the post, so keep reading this!

Color storm

Golden Christmas

And as I promised earlier, I have an announcement: Starting December, I'm going to be filming video tutorials for you guys on Youtube! I've already had my followers vote on Facebook what look they want to see first and "Night Glam" got the most votes. Keep your eyes peeled!

Guess who went shopping?

Hello there ladies! So yes...I went on a tiny shopping spree for cosmetics. On Friday I have this event with a fashion show including wedding dresses and I needed to restock on makeup products since there's going to be some heavy work :)). Anyways, I ended up buying two foundations, mascara, eyeliner, and I couldn't help myself not to get something from NYX as well so I bough a lipstick and an eyeshadow and got a complementary Jumbo Pencil at choice....I was planning to get the Milk one but they were all out T_T
So, without further ado, here's the cargo!
P.S. The foundations are not for me! :)) They're for the models... :D mkay?

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation

Maybelline New York Dream Satin Liquid
There is also a spray version of this but it's nowhere near as good.

NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean

NYX single eyeshadow in Wild Fire. It's a gorgeous shimmering teal-ish color.

NYX  Lipstick No. 507. This is an amazing golden-orange color
which looks absolutely gorgeous on the lips and it's very soft and creamy.

I didn't swatch the mascara and the eyeliner...both are from Rimmel London and I assure you they're amazing.

Anyway, I hope you liked this short swatch and also I hope you like the look I wore for today (added some NYX Wild Fire). Feel free to leave a comment!

BH Cosmetics goodies

Well guess what came in the mail? I figure you've already guessed since it's in the title and yes my gorgeous ladies, you're right! My prize from the "Back To School" competition finally came after almost a month's wait. I was super excited to open the package and examine all my goodies :D I wanted to show you the photos and do a little review on the products.

Le box :))

This is the travel's actually smaller than I imagined but i like the fact that it's pretty solid and doesn't wrinkle or get flat.

The three palettes

The 28 color palette looks really amazing...I love the colors in it even though I don't really wear smokey eyes that often but I guess I'm gonna give it a try with this new palette. You can also create lots of beautiful nude or soft looks with the colors.

Aaaand a look I created with this palette

The Contour and Blush palette is really good, pigmented and easy to blend. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the blushes are matte and I like my dose of shimmer...but I guess I can blend it with some Lime Crime Top Hattie eyeshadow for some  sparkle

What really blew my mind was the Lip Gloss Palette...usually when you buy a palette with many lip glosses they're not really pigmented and they're dry and sticky...but surprisingly, this BH palette is absolutely gorgeous! What you see is what you get...the colors stay true...absolutely amazing.

I want to thank BH Cosmetics again for the amazing prizes and also give a thumbs up to their amazing store...check it out here:

My cat loves BH Cosmetics too :)))

New Lime Crime Uniliners Look and Review

Hello beautiful ladies! I never got a chance to create a look with the amazing new uniliners which Lime Crime  sent me to try out. They have been so kind and I really want to take this chance to thank them again for being so amazing and believing in me...they're my absolute # 1 favorite makeup brand. Anyways, since I had a day off from school and work today I took some time to create an artistic look.
Before I post the pictures I wanted to describe these amazing new uniliners....

Rhyme is a gorgeous and rich gold eyeliner which glides on so smooth on your eyelid that you can't get it wrong! It has a soft shimmer to it which is perfect for making your eyes pop out!

Reason on the other hand is a cool silver color, nevertheless as gorgeous as Rhyme. It gives a nice twist to any look especially if you pair it up with blue eyeshadow.

And without further's the look!

Also, here's a softer look where I used Rhyme to make everything pop out.

Late Halloween Special FX Make-up

Hello there ladies! I haven't had much time to blog lately with dividing my time between school, work and my fiance. I haven't even had time (or good light) to do some looks with Lime Crime's new uniliners but i promise that's the next look i will post. Anyways, I've been through hell and back this week, I've had some tough personal issues on Sunday, then on Monday I found out my young uncle just died in a car accident...and he was only you can imagine that I couldn't think about blogging.
Putting all things behind, I was getting bored today and it just popped into my head to try something new...of course my brave fiance was my experimental volunteer for this :)) poor thing. It may come as a surprise to you but (this is my first try at this kind of makeup) I actually didn't use liquid latex, because i can't seem to find any to buy here. What I did use is a mixture of milk and gelatin powder along with paper tissues. Hey, you need to improvise! :)) Hope you like it and I really want to see your thoughts so please feel free to comment below!
